Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

WebClub (“WebClub”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us — when you submit our contact or quote form, subscribe to our newsletter, request support, or sign up for a service: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), company, and the contents of your message.
  • Account & billing information — if you purchase a service, the details needed to create and bill your account (handled through our client portal / payment processor).
  • Technical information — when you visit the site we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages and similar log data, used for security and to keep the service running.
  • Cookies & analytics — see “Cookies” below.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries, provide quotes and deliver the services you request;
  • To create, manage, secure and bill your account;
  • To send service-related messages and, with your consent, occasional product updates and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • To protect our systems and customers from fraud, abuse and security threats;
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site and client area to work and stay secure (for example your login session, shopping cart and your cookie choice). Non-essential tools load only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): counts visits and pages viewed so we can improve the site. IP addresses are not stored in full by Google Analytics 4.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): measures whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits, sign-ups or purchases, and lets us show ads to people who visited our site.

If you click “Decline”, neither tool loads. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for webclub.ca in your browser, which shows the banner again.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example payment processing, email delivery and infrastructure), who are bound to protect it and use it only for that purpose, and where required by law or to protect our rights, customers and systems.

The service providers we currently use are:

  • Stripe: processes card payments. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • Cloudflare: protects webclub.ca from attacks and delivers the site quickly.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: checks that forms such as contact and registration are filled in by a person, not a bot.
  • Google Analytics and Meta: only with your consent, as described above.
  • Domain registries and our registrar partner: receive the contact details required to register a domain in your name.

Where your data is stored

Our hosting infrastructure is located in Canada. Some service providers we rely on may process limited data elsewhere; where they do, we take steps to ensure your information remains protected.

Newsletter

If you join our newsletter we store your email address, the date and the page where you signed up, so we can show your consent. We send about two emails a month. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by replying “unsubscribe”.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, billing records), after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Security

We protect your information with technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, firewalls and active monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or your local data-protection authority).

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the latest revision, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
